About the Author
Dr. Mohamed A. El-Reedy is a practicing structural engineer whose research focuses on the reliability of concrete and steel structures.
He has served as a consultant for numerous large international oil and gas companies in Egypt.
He also designs concrete and steel structures including residential buildings, industrial structures, telecommunication towers, and more.
Currently, he is responsible for reliability, inspection, and maintenance strategies for both onshore structures and offshore platforms throughout Egypt and in Gulf of Suez in the Red Sea.
Dr. El-Reedy has numerous publications (books and journals) and presents many papers at local and international conferences, some of which are sponsored by ASCE, ASME, ACI, ASTM and API.
