About the Author

Guang-Liang Feng, PhD, Associate Professor, is working in Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Email: glfeng@whrsm.ac.cn. He has been engaged in research on rockburst in deep engineering. He is a provincial high-level talent and was first selected into the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by China Association for Science. And he is the councilor of underground engineering branch, the councilor of mining rock mechanics branch, the member of youth commission committee of Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering. He was served as guest editor in chief / editorial board member of more than 10 international journals, and reviewer of more than 50 journals.

He presided over 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1 sub-project of National Key Research and Development. He has authored/co-authored more than 100 papers, in which 6 are ESI highly cited papers and 1 is ESI hot paper. Meanwhile, he has authored/co-authored more than 30 international and national invention patents, 3 books, 8 software copyrights, 5 national/international industry standards and 2 provincial construction methods. His awards and honors include 2 scientific awards of provincial and ministerial level, reward-gainer of the green mine youth science and technology award, reward-gainer of the excellent PhD dissertation by Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, reward-gainer of dean award of Chinese Academy of Sciences, et al.
