Job Context
- Alliance for cooperation and legal aid Bangladesh (ACLAB) is a national NGO working in Bangladesh for the past 35 years in the development sector is looking for the below-mentioned position in Bhasanchar:
- Position: Project Manager
- Project Name: Support to FDMN in Bhasanchar WASH sector
- Supported by: BRAC
- Working Station 100% at Bhasanchar, Rohingya camp, Hatiya, Noakhali.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned projects to meet the objectives and goals within the budget and allotted time frame.
- Provide strong leadership of the assigned WASH projects, working to ensure both short/long-term positive impacts and outcomes for the beneficiaries, local authorities and local WASH staff.
- Develop and implement an appropriate and effective WASH strategy, setting clear objectives and indicators in consultation with other project staff and with the local communities.
- Continuously monitor and supervise WASH activities, overseeing the technical design, execution and evaluation of progress through outputs and impacts using both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of activities according to Media, donor and other applicable timeframes and formats.
- Provide input into the integration of beneficiary participation and accountability.
- Responsible for team management.
- Coordination & networking with project staff, Head office staff, Government, Donors, and other stakeholders.
- Innovation thinking ability.
- Field visit/ site visit/ household visit.

Educational Requirements
- Masters/BSc / MSc in Water / Environmental Engineering or Management.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Age 35 to 50 years
- Strong working knowledge of English (spoken and written).
- 3-5 years post-qualification professional experience in a relevant field.
- Management experience in a WASH context; Technical WASH skills within a humanitarian setting.
- Experience in a WASH program in a developing country, preferably in a humanitarian context desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of humanitarian standards such as Sphere and HAP.
- Good numerical, report writing and administration skills; committed to consultative leadership; able to set clear objectives for staff and delegate; able to enforce procedures; communicate skills, computer skills & Reporting expertise.
- Required to adhere to the values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, non-discrimination, gender justice, women’s rights, and child safety.

Salary
- Monthly salary BDT 80,000.00
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Monthly salary BDT 80,000.00 consolidated including AIT. Others benefits will be applicable as per project documents.
