Scope of ASTM C232/C232M 14 Standard Test Method for Bleeding of Concrete
1.1 This test method covers the determination of the relative quantity of mixing water that will bleed from a sample of freshly mixed concrete.
1.2 When various concretes are to be compared, if the batches are of similar unit weight, the sample masses shall not differ by more than 1 kg [2 lb].
1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard.
The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other.
Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard. Some values have only SI units because the inch-pound equivalents are not used in practice.
